Millennium Reverse Osmosis

reduce up to 99% of contaminants found in drinking water

Our most advanced system uses reverse osmosis, four stages of enhanced filtration to filter out up to 99% of the contaminants that standard filtration leaves behind so you won’t have to worry about harmful things like nitrates, arsenic or lead making it to your faucet.

Features:

  • Point-of-use space-saver design for installation in a variety of locations
  • Four-time filter system
  • Easy water quality monitoring
  • Automatic shut off when tank is full

Here’s How Reverse Osmosis Works:

    1. Household water is directed through a pre-filter for filtration to reduce sediment, chlorine taste and odor, and particulate matter.
    2. The water is then forced, by pressure, through a semi-permeable membrane where a high percentage of the dissolved solids and other contaminants are rejected and flushed to the drain.
    3. Final polishing of the water is accomplished by an activated carbon absorption block filter removing tastes and odors. The water passes through this final filtering process immediately before going to the faucet whether it comes directly from the unit or from the storage tank.
    4. The automatic shut-off control shuts down the system when the storage tank is filled and water is not being drawn. This “demand production” feature conserves water by eliminating the constant running to the drain found in some units. The control also depressurizes the membrane when not in service extending the membrane life and reducing the need for maintenance of your reverse osmosis water purifier.

Peninsula Water Conditioning Systems offers a broad range of reverse osmosis purification systems including the Hellenbrand Mellennium, a state-of-the-art reverse osmosis filter. These products reduce substances such as chlorine taste, sediment, nitrates, lead, cysts, and detergents.

Peninsula Water Conditioning, Co. truly exceeds all expectations! Their exceptional service and responsiveness set them apart from the competition. Recently, I contacted them for a delivery of 12 bags of salt, and they not only delivered promptly but also stacked them neatly inside my garage. The small cost difference compared to purchasing from a big box store was well worth the convenience and quality service provided by PWC. For all your water conditioning needs, Peninsula Water Conditioning, Co. is the only choice you should consider!!Thom Gulyas - Berlin, MD
I highly recommend them . They worked with us until our water system was 100% right . We don’t have the easiest water to work with but they made it right and made sure we were 100% satisfied!!! Means a lot now a days and I would back them up in a heart beat !! Thank you guys for working with us !!!!! 5 stars plus !!!!
I cannot say enough about this company. From our first call to request a check on our old system and to see if we need a new one, the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Within a day or two we were contacted by Bill and scheduled his visit. A new system was decided upon since ours was so old and the iron level still moderately high. Again we were contacted later that day and set up installation the following week. The installers were polite and excellent at their job. In no time we had it installed with excellent water (no iron). One of the best experiences we have had with contractors in this area.
Had concerns my old water softener wasn't working so I asked Bill to check it. The system was very old and obsolete. He came out and tested my water and told me it was working fine, and that I didn't need a new system. I greatly appreciate Bill's integrity and honesty, as he could have easily sold me a system I didn't need. Highly recommend and will use in the future.
I was facing a lot of problems with the kind of water I get in my home. But the people from Peninsula Water came just after a single call from me! I must say they provide great water treatment services in Fruitland. Now I get clean drinking water. Thank you!
Response from the owner: Thank you, Gary! We are happy to be of any assistance.

    Frequently Asked Reverse Osmosis Questions:

    What is reverse osmosis?

Reverse Osmosis (RO) is a water purification process that uses a partially permeable membrane to reduce unwanted molecules and particles from drinking water.

    What does reverse osmosis reduce?

Reverse Osmosis reduces common chemical contaminants such as:

    • sodium
    • chloride
    • copper
    • chromium
    • lead

    Some systems may also reduce:

    • arsenic
    • fluoride
    • radium
    • sulfate
    • calcium
    • magnesium
    • potassium
    • nitrate
    • phosphorous

How much is reverse osmosis system?

A Reverse Osmosis System cost depends on the type of system you’re looking to purchase. Under sink reverse osmosis systems range from $250 to $7,500. Whole house reverse osmosis systems range from $1,000 – $18,000. System costs depend on a number of factors but are most closely tied to the amount of water that needs to be filtered per day.

How to remineralize water after reverse osmosis?

You can remineralize water after reverse osmosis filtering through various methods. Most modern reverse osmosis systems include a remineralization tank that takes care of adding minerals back into your water for you.

How to make reverse osmosis water alkaline?

You can make reverse osmosis water alkaline by adding alkaline minerals and raising the ph of your filtered water.

What is not reduced by reverse osmosis?

What is not reduced by reverse osmosis may surprise some. While RO filters will reduce a wide range of contaminants from your water, it will not reduce some pesticides, solvents, volatile organic chemicals VOCs (like chlorine and radon), dissolved gases (ammonia, carbon dioxide, oxygen, hydrogen sulfide), and organic contaminants (such as formaldehyde, methanol, acetonitrile, methyl ethyl ketone, etc.).

How much water does reverse osmosis waste?

Reverse osmosis wastes on average about 4 gallons of water per gallon made. If you use 3 gallons a day for drinking, cooking and internal consumption, that means you will waste about 12 gallons, making a reverse osmosis system about 25% efficient. Comparatively, a washing machine and dishwasher use electricity and hot water (which takes energy to heat) and waste every gallon of water they use.
